Mary
Mary's journey is built on passion, perseverance, and a genuine desire to help others become the best version of themselves.
Originally a Registered Nurse in the Philippines, Mary migrated to New Zealand in 2015 in search of new opportunities and experiences. She began her career in New Zealand working in aged care and later as a Community Support Worker, where she developed a deep passion for helping people improve their quality of life and overall wellbeing.
Her love for health and fitness inspired her to pursue a career in the fitness industry, leading her to achieve her Level 4 Personal Training Certification. Since then, she has dedicated herself to empowering others through fitness, education, and accountability.
Today, Mary is the Club Manager at Snap Fitness Albany, where she combines her healthcare background, fitness knowledge, and passion for people to help clients achieve lasting results.
As an athlete herself, Mary has competed in two Powerlifting competitions and continues to challenge herself through new fitness goals. She is currently preparing for her next challenge — HYROX — demonstrating her commitment to personal growth and leading by example.
Outside of the gym, Mary enjoys spending time on the golf course and loves the challenge, focus, and discipline that golf brings. Her passion for both fitness and golf reflects her belief that staying active should be enjoyable, rewarding, and sustainable for life.
Over the years, Mary has helped many women build confidence, improve their health, and achieve their fitness goals. She believes that fitness is about much more than physical transformation; it's about creating confidence, resilience, and a positive mindset that carries over into every aspect of life.

Adam
Adam is a passionate Personal Trainer at Snap Fitness Albany, dedicated to helping people build strength, confidence, and long-term health through effective and sustainable training.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Adam has a strong background in rugby and tennis, which helped develop his love for athletic performance and physical fitness. His passion for strength training eventually led him into the competitive worlds of Powerlifting and Strongman, where he continues to challenge himself, compete, and push his limits while constantly expanding his knowledge of strength and performance.
Adam holds both Level 4 and Level 5 Certificates in Personal Training and combines his formal education with real-world competitive experience to deliver practical, results-driven coaching. Whether your goal is to build muscle, increase strength, improve fitness, lose weight, enhance athletic performance, or prepare for a competition or sporting event, Adam can create a personalised plan tailored to your needs.
As a strength-focused coach, Adam also works with golfers looking to improve their performance on the course. Through targeted strength, mobility, stability, and power training, he helps golfers increase club head speed, improve endurance throughout a round, reduce the risk of injury, and develop the physical foundations needed to play their best golf.
Known for his supportive and motivating approach, Adam believes fitness should be accessible to everyone, regardless of age, experience, or fitness level. His mission is to help people become stronger, healthier, and more confident both inside and outside the gym.
